Nikolas Andreou

Nick Andreou, P.Eng., is an Engineering Leader, with C-Level experience in Product Development, Manufacturing Optimization, Business Development & Operations Management. Nick earned his Engineering Degree from Kettering University, with Post Graduate studies from University of Detroit and Harvard. 

Nick’s Digital Technology expertise persists throughout his career, beginning with his Thesis on Digital Manufacturing Solutions, founding GM’s Virtual Factory department, and introducing Digital Engineering solutions to a large AEC company. Technology can be fun, but implementing it profitably is the skill and track record that sets Nick aside. Merge Surgical uses technology to save time, money, and secure a safer patient experience.

Dr. Christopher Zingas, CMO

Dr. Zingas, a metro Detroit native, has trained and practiced in the Metro Detroit area for over 30 years. He is a board-certified orthopedist who has a special interest in complex foot and ankle care, in addition to general orthopaedics. Dr. Zingas is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.  He is in partnership with St Clair Orthopedic and Sports Medicine group, a large multi subspecialty Orthopedic private practice group.

Wes O'Neill

Wes O’Neill is a seasoned medical device distributor with extensive experience in surgical operations, field support, and commercial leadership. He has spent his career working closely with orthopedic surgeons, scrub techs, and hospital systems to improve surgical workflows and patient outcomes. Wes has held leadership roles overseeing sales teams, rep training programs, and OR optimization initiatives across multiple states and companies. His domain expertise uniquely positioned him to help architect Merge’s remote support model based on real-world OR needs. At Merge Solutions, Wes leads operational strategy, customer integration, and industry partnerships.

Serge Andreou

Serge Andreou is a graduate of  Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS).  He has earned his Masters in Science in Biomedical Sciences from EVMS and a dual bachelors degree from the University of Michigan (U of M) in Biology and English.

Serge is published in numerous papers (links available).

Serge is the Founder of the Re-Run Project (Charity) and has been holding Leadership positions at U of M and EVMS.

Dr. Serge Andreou is now an Orthopedic Surgical Resident at DMC, in Detroit.

Cole Zingas

Cole is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University Medical School in Philadelphia and looks forward to pursuing a career in Orthopedic surgery. He holds a bachelor’s of science in biology from the University of Michigan, with a minor in writing. As a medical student, he has engaged in community service as a director for JeffHOPE, the Jefferson student-run medical service organization. He also served as President of the Medical Ethics Society. Additionally, he has continued his interest in both creative and professional writing, which started as a journalist for the Michigan Daily in college, and has continued in writing several medical research articles that he has submitted for publication. He currently serves as a Research Co-Officer for MERGE Solutions LLC.  Dr. Cole Zingas is now an Orthopedic Surgical Resident at Henry Ford, Macomb, MI.
