Smart Glasses provide a Video and Audio feed, so the Remote Med Device Rep can see and hear what the Surgeon and Scrub Tech "See" & "Hear".

Expert Medical Device Reps are the most familiar with their Medical Devices. Their consultation to the Scrub Tech and the Doctors, are critical. Sitting in the OR, at the back of the room, “out of the way”, does not offer them the best view point of the Surgical Theatre. Smart Glasses enable a clear and focused view of the Surgical area, as well as tools and medical hardware on the tool tray.

Smart Glasses enable Remote Reps to see what the Scrub Tech and the Doctor sees

The Doctor and the Scrub Tech wear Smart Glasses. A collaboration Session (like a Zoom meeting), is started by turning the glasses “on” and simply “LOOKING” at a QR or Bar Code. The Remote Rep controls the Live Video session and also controls the Audio. The Remote Rep “Sees” what the Doctor sees in one window on his computer and sees what the scrub tech sees, in another Window. In fact, MERGE has included the live feed from Medical Monitors in the OR, to provide even more relevant and critical data to the remote rep, for optimal speed and accuracy of their Expert Consultation. The Remote Rep also has direct Audio connection with the Doctor and Scrub Tech and controls volume & mute.
